Bill Rousseau is the former Director of the Telfair Museum of Art. Prior to that he was Director of Technology for United Technologies. He retired early and entered into the MFA program at the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Old Masters' style painting. While at SCAD, He began to paint architectural landscapes of Savannah and has never stopped. He captures each composition at its most beautiful moment in time, sometimes waiting for months for the right light and shadows.
When not in his studio, Bill can often be found painting plein air at various locations around Savannah

Bill lives in Southbridge, Savannah with his wife Maggie where they are often found on the tennis courts.
